Valentina completed her BCs in Biology at the University of Calabria in 2021 and her MSc in Biology of Extreme Environments (Astrobiology) at the University of Naples “Federico II” in 2023. She started her PhD with ProtoSigns Lab in Dublin City University in June 2024. Her research focuses on probiotic chemistry and the formation of biomorphs for the development of new biogenicity criteria to be applied for microfossils. Her research focuses on both early Earth (~4 Ga) and Mars (~4 Ga).
