Sev completed their MPhys in Astrophysics and MSc in Astrobiology and Planetary Sciences at the University of Edinburgh and subsequently joined the ProtoSigns Lab as a PhD student in October 2025. Their research aims to explore the preservation potential of compounds and structures proposed as biosignatures and protobiosignatures across terrestrial and extraterrestrial environments, and their relevance in the formation of protocells on the early Earth.
