Roland is a computational evo-devo researcher who joined ProtoSigns Lab in May 2025. He had previously worked on numerical approaches to generalised morphogenesis and the evolution of complex organs at the ENS Lyon, the University Helsinki, and the Technological University of Dresden. Here, he is studying the assembly and proto-evolution of vesicles and other pre-life structures in silico.
